Your Festival Committee has conjured up a fantastic week of events for your enjoyment. Some details need confirming but here's the diary of events:

Monday 25th June - Friday 6th July

Delicious Summer Teas available from 12.00midday until 6.00pm every day at The Methodist Chapel.

Friday 29th June

Friday Night is Music Night at Llangwm Rugby Club from 8.00pm. No information is available yet for what's on offer, but judging by past 'Friday Music Nights' it will be a good evening.

Saturday 30th June

A Duck Race organised by Llangwm Rowing Club, starting at the Stepping Stones, Guildford. No information is available as to the timing of the event, but doubtless that will be advertised in due course.

Sunday 1st July)ne Voice Gospel Choir

There will be a Special Concert by Cardiff's One Voice Gospel Choir who are returning at popular demand. The concert starts at 5.00pm and will be at St. Jerome's Church, Llangwm. Everyone welcome - ADMISSION FREE

Family Pub Quiz at The Cottage Inn at 6.30pm. Come along, support your local pub and test your brain.

Tuesday 3rd July

Cleddau Reach School Sports day at 1.15pm - Weather Permitting!

Wednesday 4th July

400 Village Halls - Well, 401 now, BBC 1, BBC 2, the Edinburgh, Ludlow, Leominster, Barmouth & Much Wenlock Festivals, half a dozen tents, an opera House and three cowsheds can’t all be wrong!

Here at Llangwm Village Hall & presented in Association with Night Out from 7.00pm.

The Village Hall Committee will also be offering refreshments at £2.50 per person. So why not come along and enjoy a full night out.

Thursday 5th July

By kind invitation of Jeff & Pat James, The Little Museum, Edwards Pill will be open for one day only. A chance to see the wonders and wallow in nostalgia. Refreshments will be available and proceeds donated to local charities. Pat and Jeff ask that children are accompanied by an adult to this event.Miss Daisy's Diaries

And in the evening, the Book Launch of Miss Daisy's Diaries at The Cottage Inn from 7.00pm, where the book will be on sale at the special price of £7.50 for this night only. Author, Pam Hunt and Illustrator, Ed Tanguay will also be present to sign purchased copies of the book.

Friday 6th July

Friends of Cleddau Reach School Car Boot Sale from 6.00pm in the school grounds... Come and grab a bargain or sell your unwanted items.

Saturday 6th July CARNIVAL DAY!

A traditional village carnival starting at 2.00pm on Pill Parks Field with free entry.

Commencing with the crowning of the Carnival king & queen and the Fairy king & queen, there will be a wide variety of stalls, games, raffles and children's entertainments.

There will be a fancy dress competition and entrants will be judged on the field. The categories are:
1.       Up to 7 year old.
2.       7 - 11 year old
3.       11 - 18 year old.

4,       And New for 2012 prizes for the best decorated scooter, bicycle or pram.

Anyone wishing to have a stall at The Carnival, please enquire at The Shop.

Carnival Day concludes at The Cottage Inn with its traditional "End Of" event. A children's disco at 6.00pm and followed by a live band and basket meals will be on offer.
