Friday Night is Music Nite-24th Oct at 8.30pm
Vernon Mills Hopkins, singer and now a successful song writer formed the band The Senators in the 1960s. He invited a certain Tom Jones to join the band as lead vocal and later renamed the band The Squires.
We are promised a night of Rock N' Roll, Country & Western, a number of new songs together with a little nostalgia. Come along, it will be a good night.
Make a regular appointment to visit Llangwm's Rugby & Social Club on the last Friday of each month, where you will be entertained by the best musical acts in the area. Music starts at 8.30p.m. - come early!

Concert for Remembrance

For the fifth year Running, St Jerome's is once again proud to host Llangwm's annual Remembrance Concert in aid of the Royal British Legion. And once again we are delighted to welcome UK Brass Band Champions GOODWICK BRASS.
The concert will mark the 75th anniversary of the outbreak of World War Two and the 70th anniversaries of the Normandy Landings and The Great Escape. There's even the opportunity for a singalong.

Are there any women darts players out there?
Nikki Bosworth's Darts team is looking for new recruits. They play in the Haverfordwest league on Thursday evenings at The Railway in Johnston, but they may be moving, possibly to Llangwm. Experience is not necessary, but training will be given as well as transport when required.

The Llangwm Local History Society
The World War One project is getting underway with the music and script coming together for the Musical play that Heritage Lottery are funding. Work is also progressing well on the exhibition Llangwm, a Village at War. If you have any stories to tell about your family's involvement in the 1914 - 1918 conflict, please contact Liz Jones or Jane Mills at this email address:
The Heritage Llangwm team was awarded a Stage 1 Heritage (Development) Grant in December to start on the renovation work at St. Jerome's Church. The project will also involve volunteers from the community in both documentary and archaeological research. There is a new Website called Heritage Llangwm This will keep you up with research and progress as the work gets underway.
